Although we can associate Berguedà with large mountain passes, demanding mountain bike routes or long gravel routing, the region offers many possibilities to go cycling with the family in a more relaxed way. In fact, there are simple routes in which many boys and girls from Bergueda have learned to ride a bicycle and other more complete ones in which they have discovered what the freedom of a bicycle means when you start to be a teenager. Or, simply, the region offers escapes to enjoy the surroundings and discover natural and architectural spaces full of history that are a gift to share pedaling with family and friends.

In this collection, we offer you everything from green routes that do not have any kind of complication to routes with a certain degree of demand but which are short and manageable for those who either have little time or simply do not have much experience pedaling. In addition, the different options present a range of terrains that allow us to enjoy the bicycle in all its expression, passing through paths, conditioned tracks, stretches of asphalt and, to a large extent, through rural tracks where the only company we can find is that of a tractor working in the nearby fields. In fact, in many cases, what we have is a mixture of elements that take us from the "Via verda de Pedret", which is practically flat, to the suspension bridge of the "Via del Nicolau".

Thanks to these routes we discover the wonders of Berguedà such as the Pedret Bridge, the Roques de la Madrona or the Alzina dels Colls, an ancient tree that is one of the largest in Catalonia. And we can escape Berga by going around the Serra de Noet or get to know the uniqueness of the agricultural colony of Graugés, with its two lakes where it is easy to see animals such as ducks and geese. They are not secret corners, but they are less traveled by spaces and the best way to discover them is by bicycle. A great excuse to get to know Berguedà while pedaling with the family along the most authentic paths and, without a doubt, also the less traveled ones.
