
At this point you can see a good outcrop of Hippurites, fossils that we can see in life position forming a reef. This is a large reef made up of elongated, horn-shaped fossils, which can exceed 30 cm in length and 7 to 10 cm in diameter. These are bivalves of the order of the rudists, an order that died out at the end of the secondary age, like dinosaurs, about 65 million years ago.
To get there, we can stop the car about 100 meters further on the left, in the direction of Gósol.
