
Visits and experiences with local producers
In Cuirols, they make shepherd's cheese from raw milk using traditional methods. Their herd of goats is alpine breed that graze all year round, except in spring, when the fields are set aside for cutting grass for the winter.
El Cuirol cheese is a sour white cheese and creamy pasta which received the gold medal at the Seu d'Urgell competition, in 2009, and the Lactium Or Formatges of tender goat pasta, in 2010.
They are part of ACREFA.
