Dinosaur Interpretation Center in Fumanya

The open-carbon coal mines of Fumanya, within the municipality of Fígols, are a place of unquestionable geological and paleontological interest. Mining in this area uncovered a wall with an impressive set of dinosaur footprints from 65 million years ago.

Later excavations have also discovered other elements of high scientific interest such as dinosaur eggs.
